I randomly found this business years ago and they are ALWAYS my first choice and preference. Ms Crystal the owner takes pride in her place of business and not only does she herself reflect this but the ladies in her employ and the environment in the shop reflect her pride and professionalism. I have walked into places that were to be honest completely disgusting.  SISTAHS BRAID TOO IS NOT ONE OF THEM. They are CLEAN, efficient, professional, the atmosphere is very very pleasant, and your hair always comes out looking great. I went to get a feed-in ponytail on Nov. 28th and it took out on Dec. 28th. I've been going to African braiders before trying this new salon. The owner, Crystal has a nice salon and braided my hair. She hair own hair pomade. The skill set isn't there, which is why you don't see them posting the newest styles. When I was taking down the braids my scalp was extremely tender. When I went to my stylist for a wash and set, I told her that was scalp hurt and there was a lot of white build-up that looked like dandruff. After blowing out my hair she told me I needed to go to my dermatologist because my scalp was inflamed and had open lesions.  I've never had this experience with braids. She said it was caused my whatever the braider put on my scalp and/or the hair. I bought the hair from Sistahs and she used her own pomade while braiding. My stylist said until I got my scalp treated. I wouldn't be able to get my hair dyed because I could get a chemical burn. I text Crystal asking if she'd be willing to pay for my medical fees and treatment and she said, "we don't give refunds". I didn't ask for a refund just for coverage for the expenses to my scalp and health that were caused by her. BE CAREFUL IF YOU GO TO THEM BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE PUTTING ON YOUR SCALP THAT MAY CAUSE MEDICAL PROBLEMS.

Great black owned salon. Owner Crystal is Awesome! Her daughter Jayda is Great!! I have been a customer for 2 year's
